Jena Inghram

Jena has a BA in Human Services from Western Washington University and twenty years of early childcare experience. Since 1996, she has worked as a nanny, an infant teacher, toddler teacher, preschool teacher, mentor teacher, and director. For ten years she operated a small home-based childcare and preschool program, called Tiny Tribe, in West Seattle. Jena is a trained facilitator of Steven Glenn’s “Developing Capable Young People” parenting series and Jane Nelson’s “Positive Discipline”.

Jena is excited to begin her fourth year teaching at SSC Co-Op and she loves the play-based curriculum, open-ended art, and focus on social and emotional development. She and her husband, Scott, are the proud parents of two daughters, who are four and ten years old. Jena also enjoys experiencing Co-Op as a parent with her daughter, Luna, will be in joining her, for the third year, as a preschooler in the 4s class.
